Garage Storage Insurance
picking up a new bike tomorrow, need to park it in the garage for a month to six weeks till i can ride it, (cus i broke my leg) looking for some storage insurance whilst waiting for two weeks to get another years no claims on current insurer, too change bike details for 2 weeks they want ?100, not happening! Its only costing ?200 to insure next year!
Anyone any ideas on getting garage insurance would be helpful, my home insurance wont cover it! ________ Suzuki jimny specifications Last edited by uksurfer; 01-04-2011 at 01:59 AM.. |

You tried Carol Nash, I saw on my policy they have an option to just have fire and theft storage insurance, not sure how much it is.

Lancaster used to do laid up cover, my car was something daft like £50 a year, think they did bikes too, think Carole Nash do it. It covers fire, theft and accidental damage which is all you need really. There was a company advertising on TV for day rate and odd cover but I've only seen the ad once so haven't a clue who it was.
Hope you mend quickly. |
