Newbie with 600

Hi

I'm 21, Live in West Lancashire and recently bought a '99 M600

This was it when I got it

Now I have done away with the mirrors and replaced them with bar end jobs, put smaller indicators on and I am currently messing with the arse end to make it a bit shorter and tidier but not doing the full chop.

Bought a set of clip on's for it too so they will be going on when I get round to it!

Cheers

Hi, just took my new (to me) 1999 600m dark out today for a 100 mile jaunt, very chuckable but has wierd ride ie the gears, i caompare it to driving a morris minor compared to a 08 fiesta, love it though.
though personaly i like the standard look and the micky mouse mirrors. like your yellow!!!!!

Oooh, very nice! I have a 2000 M600...am looking for some bar-end mirrors I think...have just put drop bars on and the originals look daft! I was humming and haring about a bellypan...but yours looks lovely...hmmm...

Thanks for the kind replies!

Blue flames sound pretty good, throaty but not too loud when riding round town. Make the right noises when you open it up though! They have removable baffles which pop in and out in seconds with a circlip, handy for the MOT

Bar end mirrors were £20 on ebay, personally I like them over the standard mirrors plus you can see everything instead of just your shoulders!
