I'd tell him about all of the above, that you could get one with T&T for around £800, then I'd offer him £500 (while keeping a straight face).
Depends if he wants to get rid of it now or let it sit there cluttering his garage for another 2 years

changing belt on a 600 is less than 1 hour job + belts very easy if u have some mechanical knowlkedge the belts are about £30 a pair

Hi could you pass on the details of garage/mechanic you use, i live in Bromley and have recently bought a Monster that will require a service later in year, using some one localish is good in my books.

Leigh, welcome to the club to you too.
