New owner

Hi all

Just had my first Ducati delivered today after 27 years of jap bikes...A 2000 monster 600 in yellow..looks very clean,11000 miles in 8 years and never seen rain i would say.

It fired up 1st time this morning after sitting for 3 weeks which surprised me,it has a datatool alarm fitted too and i did find a receipt for a new battery purchased last year.
Idle seemed a bit hit and and miss but i guess its the usual carb icing prob....forecast for mild and dry down here for weekend so hopefully will go out for a run.

I'm now a 2 bike 1 ducati garage man which has been a dream of mine,not qite a 1098 but maybe 1 day....other bike is a 2006 hornet 600 which is a bit bland but quick and bulletproof.

Great to see another new member. Welcome to the club.
There are a good few owners in North East London/Essex if you ever want to catch up with others.
we've been know to ride out to Southend for a bit of fish & chips when the weather's good.

Welcome on board sir. You should have got the fast colour Red, Yellow is the slower version.
