Hi Everybody !
I'd just like to say hi to everyone !!
Had my 695 since July and I just cant get enough of it !! It's my first bike and I have to say - It is fantastic. I've just had a set of carbon Termi's fitted ( baffles removed ) and it's like a completely different bike - so much better !! Hahaha !! Only thing is..........I was out on the S4 while my cans were being fitted and I was blown away by it. I'm not really into the two cans on the same side though but, - the new 1100 will be in the showroom soon - it is BEAUTIFUL !!! I may just have to get one. Toodle-pip ! |

Welcome to the club Rudeboy. Glad you're enjoying the 695, I had one as my first bike for 9 months before I moved up to the awesome power of an S4R Testastretta engine. 140 bhp on my baby.
I've said it on the site before that the 1100M looks good & reports say it rides wonderfully, but it's just too underpowered at 95 bhp for me.

Hi guys - cheers for the welcome.
Yep, 95bhp will be PLENTY for me. Like I said, I had the S4 out ( 130bhp ) while my cans were being fitted and although fantastic, it was just a wee bit hairy !! Cant wait for the test run............................ |

Ah, it's a wee bit hairy now, you wait till you're more confident next year !
If no one's recommended it, and if you a new rider, it's worth looking into joining your local I.A.M group. Get some very good training, makes you safer and is really, really cheap for the training you get, usually abour £10 for a couple of ours with an observer. I highly recommend it.

I have thought about it, and so has my missus - ( she's on a Triumph Thruxton - been a biker chick for ages !! )
Yeah, I definately think it would be a sound idea. Thanks for the reminder J.P |

rider training (bike safe) from your local police is very good training and a good day out.
