was a bit drunk when I posted this thread, sorry if sounded a bit petulant.

cost of a course, traveling to test centre, cost of test itself. urgh.

So save up, by the time you've bought car and paid for insurance and worked out running costs I'll bet it will be cheaper to take your test. The new test isn't coming in for a while thanks to usual cock ups.
