Hello!

Like loads of people before me I'm saying hello here and introducing myself. The name I most usually answer to is Pete (sadly my office nickname is very different) as that's what my parents christened me. I can safely say I'm toilet trained, don't dribble, and almost completely trusted with matches.

After a misspent youth riding bikes without bothering to get a licence followed by nearly twenty going nowhere near anything with just two wheels I passed my DAS test all of two weeks ago; now I've been doing the newbie biker hard thinking thing about what bike I should now go and wobble round the village on.

Seeing as I'm not the sort to wear one-piece leathers (beer gut like a shelf) and stick my bum in the air these lairy sportbikes aren't for me. On the other scale a Harley is just a bit too self consciously male-menopausal. A Monster seems to tick a lot of boxes. Well, I love pasta me!

So, I'm taking my time and looking for an older model, watching fleaBay and Autotrader etc, and hopefully in the coming weeks I'll have something red or black gracing the back of my garage. Probably stripped down within a fortnight too seeing as I love taking things to bits!

Anyway, thanks for letting me in!

True Mand, but I thought red would be nice as it would then match my eyes after a night out on the alcopops!

Honestly, I'd rather not say. I imagine some people would enjoy being handed the title but I find it cringeworthy.

Thanks for saying hi everyone, it's nice to be made welcome. Anyone got an early Monster by the way? The more worn out the better so I can justify the recent and completely pointless purchase of yet more garage kit!
