another new guy in SW London

Hi, new guy here. Wanted a monster for years, saw the daddy, and I bought it! Lovely S4Rs in white. Still running in, but I can't wait until it's ready to rock. Had the front wheel airborne first day - oops!

Got any suggestions for keeping the wheels clean?

Dari (fast guy on an S4) suggested the forum - thanks mate! BTW, forgot to say, in SW London. Can anyone recommend a good place to look after my bike? MotoRapido look ok, but they're mles away. London Duc dealer - mentioned elsewhere - can't look after my yammy xt properly so what would they do with this...

Also, suggestions for pipes etc very welcome. Standard cans are really quiet.

Welcome. Beautiful bike and one I hanker after. I've bought my bike from Metropolis in Vauxhall but wouldn't recommend for them to look after it other than for the needed services .
Lots of suggestions will come your way I'm sure but lots of the London riders use Rosso Corse in Bethnal Green. Open every day except Sunday & Monday and always helpful if you want anything done/fitted.
Anyway enjoy.

(None of the below are any good to you while your bike is still under Ducati warranty)

Rosso Corse - Bow
TecMoto - Romford
Pro Team - Wimbledon
Dave Robinson - Wandsworth

All good places though.

I wouldn't let Metropolis touch my Blandit let alone the Monster!!

Welcome mate - maybe see you at the Ace sometime.....

I find superma cream cleaner works fantastic for getting my wheels white again - who needs expensive motorcycle specific products huh?

Yup, I'd like to get down to the Ace or Box Hill sometime. House cleaning stuff? I'll have to talk to the wife

I tried Dave Robinson once, never again, complete clown, AVOID!

Protwins in Godstone are competent, reliable and nice!

As above.

I went to Rosso Corse after 12 months of c*ap service by authorised dealers and haven't used anyone else since.

Ok the warranty is no longer valid but I would rather have someone who knows what they're doing and cares about my bike than picking up a bike which runs worse than before it went in. Just the risk I decided to take on the warranty front and I'm glad I did.

Good to see another SW monster on here!
