Rivington Barn, Lancs.
Big meet place on the West Pennine Moors. Cafe, Bar, Art & Crafts.
Anything up to 200 Bikes on a good summers day. Good twisty roads around and close to Junction 6, M61. Just Enter 'RIVINGTON' in the 'FIND' box......... Last edited by steviej; 15-03-2004 at 09:46 AM.. |

Rivington & little barn also
I am right on the Barn's door step...well almost. I can thoroughly recommend it. Bike only parking on a sunday right out side the door. BBQ on nice days and hot food inside. Some stalls also.
There is also the little barn which is open in the day during the week. You can see this from the road as you turn up the road/drive to the big barn. There are normaly 5 - 20 bikes there (ish) on a sunny weekday afternoon. Classics and modern. Mostly retired people and people who got up and though, "sod work, it's sunny". Food not as cheep at the little barn, not as many people so price hike to pay the staff to work in the week. You can eat your own outside if you like though. |
