MOT without changing cans?
Is there a can-tolerant MOT tester in or around London?
I've skinned my knuckles on both hands just to get the new ones on. I'd rather not have to switch them around too often. |

The MOT tester told me that as long as there not marked for race use only he will pass it.
Hence I never had to change the pipes when it was MOT'd. Hope this helps. Norrie. |

What Norrie says!!
As I understand it, exhausts are not automatically a fail if they're not stamped with appropriate CE/BS markings. It is now at the discretion of the tester who can still fail them if they are excessively loud. I've just gutted the cores our of mine so I have 50mm straight through cans with a nice CE Mark on the end cap and they look totally stock! Ped
