oops. i forgot to say - it was not really a serious political comment.
sure c'mon, t'was just a bit of the oul craic there now squire t' be sure t' be sure etc etc.

ps i thought they partitioned ireland into north and south in 1920 ... but what would i know. sorry - that's enough of that, this is a ducati monster forum!!

As you said, it's a bike forum - not a political forum. And for us all agreeing why might as well discuss religion too then.

PS. I believe the republic was recognised in 1922, which also was the year the Italians got Mussolini.
