Motorcycle Delivery Service

Not sure if this is where I should be posting this, but it's maybe someting that some of you may have to use in the future...companies that will pick up and deliver bikes.

I did a lot of research on this. The price of a courier was going to determine whether I could afford to buy the bike in the first place.

Anyway, it turns out that there are only 3 companies in the UK officailly insured to carry motorcycles. The one that eveyone knows about was going to cost me Â£375 to take a bike from London to Perth. They have a great reputation however, as this was almost a 3rd of the cost of the bike, it was just too much!

On the other hand there is MCD http://www.motorcycle-delivery.co.uk/ At less than half the price - Â£160! And they were brilliant. Fully insured, same day delivery, bike fully protected and padded, and brilliant customer service - really helpful, friendly folks.

I promise you you won't go wrong with these guys if you ever need them.
