My Wife and I....

Hi there, i've just joined the forum because my wife is taking her Direct Access and I'm looking out for a 600/620 Monster for her. I expect once I get one she will join the forum too so that we can exchange ideas and attend local meets! I ride an ST4 which is up for sale to pay for the Monster, so if anyone fancies a PX let me know! My ST is for sale on the Ducati Sporting Club forum if interested or I can send details by e-mail.
I had a very brief foray in the DesmoDue race series until I broke my elbow which is not a good thing when in your 50th year! But at least I got to know how good the little air cooled 2 valve engines are. If anyone has any advise when buying a small Monster please shout!
Gary (Speedtrip).

If you can, get her a 696, way better in my mind to the 620, I have ridden both as has my wife, she has a 696 after having a 600 and 620 monster and reckons the 696 beats them hands down

I know Alec, he looks after my ST! Hope to catch up sometime - i'll lookout for any local meets.

Chris, thanks for the advise re the 696, I hadn't really considered one of those as they look bigger/heavier, but I will look into that now although I will need to check to see if the insurance going to be higher for a novice.

Chris.
Yes definitely lighter and maybe a smidge taller than a 620 but lower than a 796/1100 and very agile. Much more sportier ride position but maybe not everyones cuppa tea.
Meets are still 2 sunday everymonth in Kent section but we are getting to the possible just drive meet for breakfast and banter unless warm sunny day.
Usually at Mickeys diner on Bluebell Hill unless stated otherwise. We gave up the Oakdene as the carparks now a disgrace and potholed. And lengthy queues for Tea.

Hi Gary, welcome mate. I think I bought your Dave Cooper trailer ages ago? I think I came to look at your DD bike (a white SS that I believe Tom ended up buying?).

Good luck in the hunt for the monster

There's also an M600 for sale from another member if you don't go for the s2r
