Ducati Proteam
Just got the old girl (my S2R that is) back from Alec at Ducati Proteam for it's annual service and I have to say it's running superbly, as a brilliant day round the lanes of Kent proved on Sunday. I know a lot guys in Kent and London use him and for good reason, he does a great job and he's a really nice guy too! So if you need some work doing on your pride and joy by someone who really knows what they're doing and is very reasonably priced too, give Alec a shout, you won't be disappointed.

Funny enough I popped in there yesterday, he had a very interesting Cagiva on the bench!

Was it a trick Cagiva Elephant? I know one of Alec's customers is into them.
Nice to see you and the DOC boys on Sunday Nick, I'll try and get down more regularly (family permitting). |

I would like to add a big thumbs up to Ducati Proteam, who just carried out a full service on my 696, the bike is running beautifully, not a nicer guy could you wish to meet than Alec. The fact that the price was very good and that he waived the pick up fee for collection of the bike even though it was out of the distance for his usual area was a also nice touch.
What is it with those tricked up Cagiva Elephants? |

Another huge for Proteam
Alex has just fettled my M900ie and it's running much better. I had a huge flatspot from just off tickover up to 2500rpm, but a combination of TPS, throttle balance, fuel mapping and desmo shim adjustments, have drastically improved perfomance. Feels like a different bike now.

Actually no, they were very good but they are in Coventry and I'm in London. They do a free pick up and deliver service and were recommended by a friend who has a plethora of Ducatis. As the delivery service is free they wait until they have a few bikes to pick up and drop off so great if you are not in a rush which I seem to remember I was when I wrote that last year
