Hi WeZ

Had to back preload off about 5mm to get 10mm of static sag.
and one less click of damping.

Shock was supposedly Sprung for my weight but has the same 115n/mm spring I have seen on every DU737 Ohlins so not sure if dealers actually do anything they promise to do.

Anyway ride is lovely after the Sachs Shock that I was pretty happy with till recent thread on here somewhere about new owner not liking handling.

I do have Bar end mirrors (Cycle Star by B&M) Bicycle bar end mirrors
they are just tiny but work fine.

Shiney red bits are Made in China Billet Sprocket nuts and Hub nuts.
(all tested at work and found to be as good as Very expensive Billet stuff apart from Anodizing is less robust)

And I fitted a Cheapo Carbon Hugger today as the standard placcy one looked poop.
From ebay seller
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Squaredeals-UK-Ltd go down to Carbon Fibre then Ducati then type monster in search box.
Good quality hugger for less than £80

Tyre was a Mallory trackday without using tyre warmers

lots of cold tear but it's not worn off on the road, just sort of blurred back into the tyre.
I don't use the traction control as I find it pretty pointless unless its very slippy.

I do like the ABS though unlike most people
I can stop shorter than the ABS after a couple of tries in the dry like most competent riders
But I can't do it first go every time so I let the ABS take away the Doubt

Very perty bike mate. I'd stay with the Remus myself as I think it looks great but then I might love the akra when I see it without being hidden by a wheel

Bob is gonna love the belly pan, I just know it!

really really looks good mate ! top job.

You have spent a few quid on her haven't you !!

I have a little of list of things i want for mine, so dar done the termi kit, Evotech fender eliminator, R&G crash bobbins, short black levers and a couple of other bits.

Would love a new rear shock, the thread about the handling was probably from me, i am not overly confident with it. How much was the rear shock ? GULP !

I'm with you on the DTC/ABS thing too - the DTC has never kicked in at any useful moment - just when the rear kicks up over bumps - and it hasn't stopped the rear stepping out once or twice on the gas. The ABS saved me once in London so has paid for itself already.

And that is a lovely looking bike, and would look even better without the.... oh, you know what? I'm not going there.

Hi Bob

I recently got a stone through my oil filter which covered the rear tyre in oil.
I almost turned the TC back on till I realised it was an oil leak

That's why I fitted the belly pan as my tyres pick up a lot of stones as do the rest of the group I ride with.

I'm still not 100% sure on the belly pan but it deffo keeps out the stones

If I get the White panels I am after there will be no belly pan fitted when in Stormtrooper mode.

Aha, ok, yes, nice job, looks like it's supposed to be there.

On balance personally still prefer the look of the Remus, it's close though

Hi Guys & Girls

Just like to Thank Rally for a good Transaction for his old Pearl White bodykit.

I really like the white with the Red Frame.
When I get bored I think the Corse Is next.

Bought some custom decals from USA for the 1100evo signs on tail

Regards
Rick

Looking good Rick. And a nice carbon mudguard with UKMOC stickers on the frame as well.
Thanks for the easy transaction as well.

I forgot about the stickers till I was packing my evo panels for safe keeping and saw one of them in the bottom of the packaging

Mudguard also
which does fit but needed 3 small holes drilling to fit ABS sensor wiring onto (Easy).

Very pleased with "My New Bike"
