New S2R owner in Scotland
Hi guys!
Recently back into biking after 10 years away. Have moved out of the city and need to commute so figured it was time to get back on two wheels. Last bikes were a Buell XB12 and a Speed Triple 1050, but had always really fancied the Monster S2R So, now this is mine: The Mustang is not however! Went for the 800, I'm not a very aggressive rider and not too fat so the stock suspension should be fine and the lighter clutch appealed with lots of city riding. No complaints, the motor is great and the suspension all seems fine to me. Took it in for a long-overdue major, belts and valves service at North Motorcycles in Leith, Edinburgh. Tyler did a great job, found a few other issues with the bike he sorted and I've got a brand new Pilot Road 4 on the back. Figured this place will prove handy for tips and getting parts etc This weekend's job is fitting some heated grips to help me out with the commuting! |
