That doesn't look like a Monster headlamp shell to me.
If they are all the same, which I think they were up until the strange plastic ones were introduced on the S#R.
It should have a rolled lip for the rim to sit over. (maybe it's out of sight due to camera angle?) Does the headlamp glass have Bosch written on it?

I think the finish might be right for a "Dark" model, but I think mostly they had a gloss finish with a subtle silver metalflake in it which I believe is called "Light spark" and is a complete arse to reproduce.

Absolutely prepared to be contradicted.
