carbony lovelyness
im James and i have an addiction.
so its finally happened. i have more carbon on the bike than is tasteful. however i am happy and have learned to live with my problem. thing is if im going down im going to take some of you with me. having moved my indicators recently i didnt like the ugly holes that were left in the headlamp mounting bracket so decided to make a replacement at work first i fab'd one out of ally then decided it needed to be carbon. so made a mould up for the bend as when i initially tried to use one of the original brackets to mould too the vacuum pressure bent it. i think it came out quite well! and as i have kept the moulds could possibly make some more? unfortunately due to the time and the materials i couldnt give them away so just gauging interest at the min. what can i make next?!! |
