The Evolution of Christine
Since buying 'Christine', my S2R 1000 in the spring of 2007 she has been something of a work in progress. Initially, she was a well kept low mileage model looking like this:
Some three years later and we're getting somewhere near where we wanted to be. Most of the plastic bits are now carbon fibre and most of the light grey metal is now coated black. including the beautiful single sided swinging arm. The engine is still standard, although with a polished Arrow titanium system and a performance airbox conversion and is a peach. Rizoma rear sets and bars have been fitted, as have a set of Pazzo levers (all in black, naturally). Hopefully most of the changes are so subtle that you'd have to look for a bit before you notice them. More information on Christines evolution can be found on her Ducatisti page here: http://www.ducatisti.co.uk/forum/duc...2r-1000-a.html . |
