Early crimbo gift
Hi all
I've just bought my first ducati - an 06 monster 695 with only 700 miles on the clock, in red. My first bike after passing my test was a hodna crb600f - fast and a very good bike but lacked character even with modded pipes. I sold that about a year ago and now my finances are in better shape, I've been looking for a winter bargain and didn't have any particular bike in mind. Needless to say, after a good search by price bracket, I was surprised to see a young monster advertised at a great price. Picked the bike up today and I'm pretty chuffed so far. I've taken it easy and with the mileage at 700, is it ok to give it a full blat or should I wait until the mileage gets a bit higher? So far the twin grumble does it for me. It's the character that I want. I'm in Manchester and hopefully will get to meet a few of you kicking around when the weather is good. p.s. It didn't come with an owners manual or service book. Is the best bet to contact my local dealer? Cheers Matt |
