fresh meat...?

Hi...how's things.

I'm Ed, from Belfast and I'm in my 2nd month of proud monster ownership, a 2000 M600 Dark... I've been riding 2-strokes erm 16 yrs or so and this is my first 4 stroker, sorry i didnt do it long ago but sure...momentum conservation skills!!

I had a chance to buy a monster about 10 yrs ago but instead i bought back my totalled tdr250 from the insurers and rebuilt it and customised with some help from friends...as i'm a mechanical retard.

So I'm here to hopefully pick your brains and what not...I've done 2000 miles in a month, I have to start chillin out, so i'm gonna have bash at an oil change soon...I've replaced most of the engine bolts with stainless. Belt covers are the next thing to replace and then the mirrors...can's eventually cos i keep (fun but annoyingly) touching down the stock ones...

How often should you get the valves checked? Any other covers apart from Rizoma?
