Finally
After the plan to sell the commuter Monster and relace it with a newer model that was running went West (see the The Last Owner was a Mechanic thread).
And being beset by many problems including, non-fitting rearsets, missing high level pipe fitting kits, seized bolts, gummed up carbs and finally a flat battery today I reached this stage! ![]() Ok, so it need some polishing and buffing on the paintwork, a new rear brake switch bar ends and the belts done, but she runs on the button and is ready for the MOT. To come are some rearsets, once I get myself into gear and send them to Utopia for remedial action, the belly pan (once I reinforce it with some GRP and clean it) and some new brake pads. Phew! |
