Dont think the market has ever been very strong for the M900 anyways but generally motorcycles across the board have shot up in price over the past few years so any return to sensible prices can only be seen as a good thing.

But they'll still cost more than twice that to build. Been there, done that. But you will have a nice bike at the end.

looks more like a 750 with that clutch. everything went to the ST frame in '02 didnt it so frame and rear suspension is right. m800 didnt come till '02 in ST frame anyway then became s2r in '03. Motor just doesnt look like a 900. doesnt look like a scam though despite the lack of description.

it’s a seperate clutch cover, so 900 sounds right, even if it’s an aftermarket cover.
later models have always been less desirable than early ones. either way, it looks relatively tidy at first glance. |

Looks like a steel swingarm too (you can see the welded-in end of the brake anchor pin).
Should be ally (originally) on all hoop-type 900s, shouldn't it ? |

Only the 900S had the ally swingarm in '00-01, at least according to the Monster Bible 2:11

i dont think it is a separate cover rob. from the pics it looks like the wet clutch bolted on case side. maybe you can fit these to the 900 just never seen one with it on. thought they were dimensionally different. (12mm i think in width)

That does look suspiciously like a wet clutch cover, the bolts only go around 2/3rds of the perimter.
Is it possibly a 750 or 800 taken out to 900?? Wouldn't be too good smiffy, the clutch isn't seperated from the rest of the casing spaces so it would get seriously oily even if you could make the casing fit.
