Custom UKMOC Thermo-mug.
Product withdrawn. No longer available. These personalised laser engraved UKMOC Thermo-mugs are now available. £15 each + £3.50 postage. Up to 3 mugs in one package for same postage, and other club merch included for no extra postage. Name of your choice engraved For £1 As example below. Mugs hold approx 0.3ltr and have detachable lid with sealable straw hole and opening for drinking. Ideal size to pack on a bike and keeps drinks (or soup) hot or cold. Dishwasher proof, but hand-wash advised due to dishwashers leaving a detergent odour inside the mug. (As with all thermos flasks.) These are payment with order. Mugs will be ordered from the engraver in reasonable batches, so turnaround will be about 2 weeks. Please pay PayPal via ukmoc.merch <at> outlook <dot> com using friends and family. Please state name you wish to have engraved and finally don't forget to send me your delivery address. Product withdrawn. No longer available.

Looking forward to a few more orders so I can submit a batch.

Just occurred to me to do the logical thing and measure the contents of a mug with a measuring jug!
Turns out they hold 1/2 a litre, or near as dammit a pint. That's about two average coffee mugs full.

It's with a very heavy heart that I'm pulling this item from the merch shelves.
I've refunded Stinger and Luddite. I've tried mine out "on the road" and I just can't keep the lid on. The hot drink pushes the lid off whatever I do and to be honest it doesn't keep the drink hot, or even warm! I did take the precaution of bagging the mug before setting out, so no leakage in the pannier, but I can't inflict this product on my club mates. Such a shame as it looks good and was a fair bit of work to get the design. However there are other products that can carry the same design and also have the personalised name, so I'll do a market survey.

Here are some tasters.
500ml Water-bottle. Thermo type, keeps drinks hot or cold. I will confirm that it has a screw top. Same deal as the former mugs £15 + postage and + £1 for a name of your choice. Same UKMOC design and layout. This is in no way encouraging anyone to take a spirit while out on a bike, but a nice object non the less. PU Leather bound 6oz Kidney hip flask with S/S funnel in presentation box. I think these would work out to £20 + Post and £1 for a name Same deal as the hip flask above; 6oz pillow shape hip flask, with S/S funnel in gift box. Please let me know what you think and I will get more info if needed. All items will have the UKMOC design laser engraved with the option of a name of your choice.

These all look good, Mr G.
The fact that the flasks come boxed make them good gifts. I'd go for one of the faux leather bound flasks if you do go ahead with these. |

I collected a hip flask for Luddite this afternoon and it's a very nicely presented object.
It is monogramed but I've obscured it to be discrete. It's as described in the post above. They come in a little presentation box 120 x 170 x 40mm. These are now available for £20 + £3.50 postage and a pound for a personal name/word below. If you want one before Dec 24th please order early as the engraver is getting busy for that date already. If you're thinking these might come in handy to take out on a bike for a little nip on the run. Perish the thought. Bury the idea. Forget it and move on! Don't drink and ride or drive. Ever. I mean that from the bottom of my teetotal heart, having been hit by a drunk driver. I should be hearing soon about some stainless steel Thermos flasks and also be able to show you a trial etch on a double walled water bottle.

A double walled water bottle should be good
