Very nice...
.......and no connection.
Can’t be too many one owner examples like this around and fairly priced I’d say: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154091611054 Or for something a little different a 750 in factory Tricolour - I think I’ve only seen one like this in real life back when CMW in Chichester had a new one for sale. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264869085321

Except that (often expensive) modifications and improvements almost never add value to a bike. A factory Tricolore started out as extremely rare and are inherently more valuable/sought after. I’ve only seen one other in the UK, a 600 that belonged to Nattyboy, then Rally... don’t know where it is now.

As for the 900, I'm not a great fan of the rack / rear light solution but an easy change on an otherwise nice looking bike

I’d have to go through my old pics to see if i have any of pics of the 600 to compare but you’re probably right (I only scanned through the pics, didn’t read the blurb) It’s a shock when you find your £2K worth of extras add nothing to the value (unless it’s EXACTLY what the buyer’s looking for). Always keep your stock parts, if you can, and sell the bling separately.

Having spent half of that on suspension alone and several hundred still to go on the brakes, I tend not to keep receipts..!

Did they actually make a 750 Tricolore? I wasn't aware they had.

Who knows what really sneaked out of the factory unofficially, I’ll have a dig in the Monster Bible later. I’m fairly sure the only Chromo was a 900 but Animal had an S4 Chromo, which he eventually discovered had a motor full of Ti parts that should only have been found in a race bike.

And picking up on 'tri colore', how about an S2r?

Looks a lot like an S4RS Tricolore, though not quite.
Nice though.

It was sold to an Adrian Shipley from Derbyshire in July 2018. He was given a UKMOC card with it, but possibly hasn’t logged on? |
