Factory visit
I have not been to the re-vamped version, I enjoyed the whole experience, I booked in for the factory tour too which was good. Enjoy the day.

I did the same as Moco, a few years ago did the factory tour and museum . If you take proof of Ducati ownership V5 or keys etc you get some discount in the shop as well (or at least you used to).
If you want to do the factory tour you have to book it first, you can't just turn up.

The new layout is good, well worth a visit. The factory tour was well worth it. My wife enjoyed it. They were building the Superleggeras while we were there. I saw 8 finished bikes. One of them on the rolling road. The tester was giving it the berries. It sounded awesome. If you have a DOC membership the tour is free too

I went 5 years ago with the wife and two years ago on my own when it had been refurbed. Although my wife has zero interest in bikes she did enjoy both the factory and museum. She knew Foggy was a bike racer and lives about 12 miles from us but was quite taken aback when I pointed out that it's his bike they have in there and how he is held in very high regard by Ducati.

Went today and visited the museum, I really enjoyed it, some lovely bikes in there. Afterwards my wife said she would have liked to see the factory tour...typical, still we can go again another time.
Sadly the DOC card was for 2018 so I didn't get free entry, no ones fault, I know Rob has problems getting the kits out from Ducati on time. Well worth a visit.

DOC trying to make this sort of thing a priority

Not a problem, it was worth the entry fee and I did get a discount as an owner.
