Newbie - Bedford

Evening all!

Passed my test a couple of weeks ago and picked up a black 696 from Aylesbury Ducati (with Termi's!).

Welcome aboard!
I've recently moved to St Neots, and will be off to Norfolk for a lunch time meet, on Sunday, with some of the lads from the forum. You are welcome to come along.

Welcome to the club.
Congrats on passing your test and buying a wonderful bike.
Lots of advice around on the forum if you needed any help.

Keep an eye out on the forum for stuff going on. South East England area pretty active if you want to get involved.

Nice choice and congratulations on passing your test! When you have the time or inclination it is well worth checking out what your local police force is running in the way of Bikesafe courses - they are really good, informal and fun - and without doubt you will pick up stuff that will improve your riding.

Hello and welcome.

You would be welcome to join us in Norfolk on Sunday, and you couldn't wish for a better riding partner than Grumpy...Take him up on the offer.

I have a backburner idea to head out Bedfordshire/Northhants/Biggleswade sort of way sometime this year to have a meet and greet with some of the folk in that area...Not sure if there is a section organised in that area, but I know there are plenty of Monster owners out there.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Thanks Grumpy for the offer of joining your Norfolk ride but it was my birthday weekend so was probably not fit to ride anywhere!!

I'll be keeping my eye out for other rides coming up around the Bedford area though...

Cheers all!

There are quite a few events on within a brisk ride distance from us, East Kirkby ( the chance to see a Lancaster taxi with a great ride there and back!) Sammy Millers Italian day, The Weekender, Bristol Italian Festival, The Fenman Bike Show, Wheels next to Sea, CRMC Festival weekend, and loads more.
Keep an eye on the forum for details of dates and who's attending.
