Free Test Rides....

Am thinking of getting a sportsbike/something different to the Monster to play around with at the weekend - possibly along the lines of a 748/749. Would prefer something non Japanese basically even though they have excellent sportsbikes.

Does anyone know of any dealers (London, Surrey, Kent) who provide free test rides?

P&H + Duke Aylesbury (coz it's close to the parents) charge 20 bob a time.

talk to Damiano at Metropolis. He's really enthusiastic about the brand. Tell him Jerry with the S4Rs sent you.

P & H never bothered to charge me when I tried a S4R there last year.
Guess you'll just have to narrow down the bike and phone around.

We can 'Group discuss' on Wednesday and we can decide for you...

P & H, Snells - both do FOC tests.
Lovely countryside & great roads round Snells to get a really good test out of a bike I know Snells are not 'Surrey' but they are NW Hants and it only takes roughly about 25 mins to get to them at speed limits laid down from jct 10 of M25

Cheers guys. When I spoke to P&H they said it's £20, but will try again and speak about a specific bike. They have a yellow 749 on sale second hand.

CK, jeez the M3 is a dangerous road. I got up to some stupid speeds on Sunday when I popped down to P&H and had to tell myself to calm down.

JP, drunken group convo it is.

HH, Hyside in Collier Row are very good. Went in there not so long ago and they had two 749's one yellow one black. One was a Biposto the other a mono. I have taken many bikes out from there and all they do is hold a deposit while you are out. It was from here i was lucky enough to take out the 848 on the day of it's release.

if you want to check they still have the two bikes 01708 763360. Speak to Ron.

Get yourself to Parkinsons in Colchester. They've got deomnstrators in and they don't charge. Best of all is the roads around Colchester. They're truly awesome!! I'm a bit gutted I'm moving back to Leicester on Saturday.
