[QUOTE=JerryXt;215597]There's a bunch of guys who go there every Weds at about 7pm. I've been, er, twice, and last night it was just me and old Kato, who spent the entire evening telling me that I should ditch all my plumbing and go retro because it looks better. THEN he had the nerve to say that the forklift thing holding his rear wheel in looked better than my beautiful single-sider. Blurry cheek.

Oi! not so much of the old........ enjoyed our blat wed's eve but I am right..........lose the plumbing sell it and buy a proper monster

When I need the old man riding position, I will

Yours is quick tho. Had to work it a bit to keep up, but then I'm still running in

Nice Bike

Looks like a minter, well done.

Thumbs up

Thanks for all the sincere welcomes guys! I am on a few other forums but that's perhaps the most passionate I've seen, which bodes well for my choice of bike!

Or perhaps it's the difference between car forums/owners and bike forums

I am also still at the 'grin to myself when another biker nods' stage. When did that last happen in a car? More like the old nescafe shake for driving a BMW

Look forward to getting acquainted with the bike, the site and the people

Ed

Open the airbox and install a free flow air filter, a set of open cans and a pair of FCR41 carbs, perhaps hi copm pistons too, and redefine your idea of quick yet again. It's not the hands coming off the bars that's the problem, it's the front wheel leaving the tarmac. Lovely £800 well spent . . .
