1200S throttle spacers...
Has anyone got any experience of the throttle spacers to take up the slack in the throttle??? I've seen them for sale here https://ducatispacers.com
but they say they only do them for 2017 models and on (mine is 2016)...however, I've also read some reviews saying they fit all ducatis....any experience would be appreciated. |

Interesting that you should post this, Moley. I've seen them referred to in numerous reviews, (always favourably), but I've never seen them mentioned on our forum and I was wondering if anyone here had tried them.
Then, the other day, I received a junk mail from CNC Racing saying that they produce a complete replacement throttle tube that does the same job as the spacers. https://www.cncracing.com/en/product...bw-ducati.html Anyway, the CNC site says their tube fits the M1200S for all years 2014-2019 inclusive, so I'm guessing the spacers would have the same fitment. If you do fit them, or the throttle tube, let us know what you think. |

Pedro, I believe, has the spacer fitted. From the brief conversation on FB with him, the spacer makes a difference. Although the tube posted by Luddite is less expensive. Might be worth a try.

Coincidentally, there was a YouTube video posted by The Missenden Flyer in the last 24 hours where he fits these spacers to his Triumph (it uses the same throttle housing as Ducati).
If you use the code MISSENDENSK when buying the spacers, you get a 10% discount. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXmNeg4fe1w |

Ok cheers all. Will check out the cnc alternative. I also saw the Missenden flyer video which prompted the post funnily enough! I also noticed that if you buy one from the US supplier, they will also give you a discount code to share - each person who buys one using your discount code will also mean you get $5 too....bit of a money maker for these Youtubers....!

Excellent mod for my 1200R, makes picking up from closed to open throttle much less snatchy. Simple but very effective

I think Either Cornerspeed or JHP sell spaces too
