New Project

I've just taken delivery of another new project: a '93 m900 on a K Plate.

It isn't running at the moment and won't be till the oil and belts are changed, plus it needs an MOT and some parts changing to get it how I want it.

It won't be at the Weekender, but keep an eye out for it at Moto Rapido when it goes in for a service.

Before

More photo's to follow as progress is made.........

is this the clacton-on-sea one that ended on ebay recently? if so was bidding on it but due to circumstances changing think you did me a favour. looks nice and original though. i always think the ss fender looks odd on them though.

Yes Smiffy, it's from sunny Clacton.

Original is the target Albie, but there are several things to change: the front wheel is an old one (But gold), the back one is later with skinny spokes at the rim (But the same gold colour), so it's just as well I've got some black ones in the loft. There's a red monster front mud guard up there too if I can find it

The wiring is fairly tired and there is some discolouration of the paint on the frame.

The first priority is to get it running and MOT'd, then I've only got just over four years to get ready for it's (Her?) twenty fifth birthday..........

Nice one albeit maybe little bit of work to do. Are you going to restore original.

Nice...Well done.

Haven't seen the Gold wheel, Silver frame and forks combo on a '93 before, but I like it.

Only bum note in the symphony is the front 'guard.

The wheels that are skinny at the rim are the lighter ones. FYI

So if you do decide to get rid of it, they will probably sell easy over at the DSC DD pages.

Chamfered silencers on a '93? Maybe they are not original either Mark. It looks like a nice bike though.

Not just chamfers, they've also got late 'DUCATI' logos and m750 compatibility stamped into the sleeves. Something else to change.
