Hi from sheffield
Just saying hi. Any South Yorkshire monster owners out there? I've not long moved here from Cardiff; would appreciate any info on good rune out/meets etc.

Hi Jonno. I'm not in Sheffield, just over the hill on the other side of the Peaks (Glossop).
I have only just moved here myself so I don't know any decent runs. Welcome to

I've been told all roads lead to Buxton (in Derbyshire!!), but the roads out towards Louth and Horncastle are often quieter. Hope to head out to Chapel en le Frith and Buxton if anyone wants a brew.

Hi Jonno,
I'm a little further north but if you head into the north york moors there are some fantastic roads up there as well, and not that far from you up the M18/A1

I ride from Glossop towards Buxton, but then turn of and go via Chatsworth hall towards Matlock. Heading back I sometimes go round Chapel via A5004, which is showing its age. If you go over the cat and fiddle, just be careful, fallen off there myself. Try to stick to 50mph and not use your brakes. Good fun.
Going to head over to visit my sister in Horncastle to try the roads over there for the first time in a few weeks, if the weather holds out!! |
