Scotland run

Hi troops
Anybody in scotland fancy a run on Monday 24.05.21 bank holiday Monday (weather dependant).

Early start 7am! Campbell town and back, plan on going Callander road to wellie > oban > Lochgilphead > Campbelltown. Roughly 4hrs there.

Then Campbelltown > Lochgilphead > Inverary > RabT > Balloch > Stirling road home. Probably roughly 4hrs also.

Just shy of 400miles total.

Let me know and i can get the evo out. If solo i値l take the triple and take it up to 2000miles ish for the season then tuck it away until i get it serviced.

Hi troops,
As it stands at the moment this run is cancelled. Weather is looking foul for Monday.

I値l try again when the weather has settled down a bit.

Route will be:

Meet at Esso Lomond Gate Dumbarton. For 9.30.

Esso>Callander (via Balloch road)>Killin>Aberfeldy>Creiff>Loch Earnhead.

Stop at Loch Earnhead and decide a route home for everyone and branch off in separate directions.

We will stop for food / tea / coffee etc along the way. I値l research places to stop at.

Total time on goggle maps is 3hrs 15mins (allow for 5hrs by the time we stop and stuff). Mileage will be 120miles.

I'm good to go for Sunday - looks like we have a weather window in the morning and afternoon.

Glad I re-read the thread......please note for anyone joining us the meeting point is Esso Lomondgate ( nr Renton ) NOT Esso Dumbarton as originally discussed. Lomondgate is about 3 miles closer to Balloch but still on the A82.

Pleasure to meet everyone, good group. Alan S4 has suggested a Knockhill run for Scottish bike championship?!?!

Good run that. Managed to avoid the wet, bit chilly though; I知 surprised for this time of the year.

I値l endeavour to get some photos uploaded for sure
