Manchester and North West

So , the seed was sown by Wrider and we have interest for this Sunday and the Italian festival Bridgenorth.

Plan is to head off to bridgenorth to get there around 10:30, route roughly A49 to Shrewsbury then head down the A458 to Bridgenorth.

As we are coming from all directions how about the starbucks on the whitchurch by pass as a meeting place?

If we can agree a meet up, Rob04 ,does that suit you or want to meet further North?

Goofle, assume you will come accross to A41 then South on the A49 ??

Aiie851, join the A49 travelling West from Nantwich ?

Chris, directly South for you mate ???

Any one else please shout up, shall we aim for 9:30 - 9:45 at Starbucks????

Answers on a post card !

A good day, thanks all!
Did anyone recognise the Ferrari parked in the centre of the road?
It looked like nothing I recognised- not that I’m an expert (sadly)!

£250k? Phah, I’m thought it was an expensive one!
I’ll have a couple!

I’ve had a look at info about the VDue - I want one! Maybe if I sell a kidney or two...

You're in luck! This from September's Bike magazine:

PS Not sure why but my Postimage hotlink hasn't inserted the picture I uploaded?

Pics

Hi Vince, I am sure I will stand corrected but I think it's because the regional thread does not have the facility for pictures, no mountain icon....some do some don't.

The link works though"......so this chap bought a few I guess at 15 grand a pop back in the day and is reaping the benefit, fair play.

Thanks, Mike, that makes sense.

I was lucky enough to see one of those V-Dues and hear it running on the dyno at Doubletake Motorcycles in Southampton. Nick and Chris had converted it from injection to carbs for the owner and were in the process of setting it up.

The dyno is in a converted shipping container and the sound of that two-stroke in such a confined space was indescribable! Ear-splitting doesn't even come close!

What might have been...
