First service 600 miles, then 7,500 miles (or 12 months from delivery date), and every 7,500 miles (12 months) thereafter.

First service cost me £108.34 on my 696
First proper service after 1 year on my missuses 695 cost about £185, and I expect a 696 to be the same as it's basically the same engine. |

I think the first service was about £100 and the 7.5k was £200. The next one at 15k is a biggy with belts, valve clearances, etc...probably about £350 - 400 I would imagine. Seb |

Get a good 'deal' when you buy and you might not need to pay for the first couple of services

Make your own deal
I got a deal in May, and I certainly wouldn't be waiting until October without agreeing a deal. |

i did get a deal but then i had to wait 6 months, most dealers wont discount at the moment because they dont need too,the best way to get a deal is buy some accessories like cans or new leathers then you can get a deal.

Snips & Walpole did you get a deal for the bike or accesories?
I can not see me needing anything other than bike, If it means buying loads of products and getting a discount. Then I feel you can get that anywhere thats just business |

i got some money off the bike but that was 5 months after ordering it as was much later than they thought.Just ask,any thing is better than nothing, but i would rather pay list price and get really good service than just get a discount.
