September breakfast meet.
Thanks to DaveR again for making the venue choice so easy, by choosing it..
So it's going to be Wittles Café at Castle Acre again. We often use this a stepping stone to go on to West Raynham or Sculthorpe, but I can't find anything going on next Sunday. So it sounds like a good opportunity to have a look round the Castle or Abbey, or both. As it happens Oxburgh Hall is free to get in next weekend, so there's another idea. It does have a Café too apparently, but I've no idea if will open on a free day.. We can decide over nosh and coffee. So; Wittles Cafe, Castle Acre, PE32 2AE. 10am Sunday 6th September. It'll be great to see you, so don't be shy. Meets have been well attended this year and new faces are always made welcome.

You are taunting us Mr G - is it September 6th or is it a Sunday, you can't have both this year 😄

Quick Bump for this meet. Wattles is very different from your typical biker meetup, good food and excellent coffee. The village is interesting as is the castle. It would be great to see a few more there with us this Sunday, I'm sure Gary will have some new Tornado stories for us!

Another fabulous, well attended meeting.
We managed a table for 5 with her radiance the lady Dacs and Mr Dacs, DaveR and good to see Richard again after yesterday, who cycled in from home about 6 miles away. Richard presented one of the talks yesterday at RAF Marham about his flights into Iraq during the Gulf wars in his Tornado. It was a fascinating day with many stories of Tornado sorties and missions from the people who flew and maintained them. Well done to all on the day. Service and food was exemplary as always at Wittles, it's a special place. With plenty of the usual interesting banter to accompany it. The ride in was under an ominous looking sky with towering cumulous in the distance but only 6, or was it 7 spots of rain on the visor. The ride home was even better with the bonus that the utter madness and stupidity of the August drivers seems to have ended with the new month. Will the heated undies be out for the next meet? We'll see. Probably heading for Hillcrest at Stanton unless there is a better suggestion. See you there. Ride safe.

It was a good meet, great to see you all again. You were lucky to get back in the dry. I got caught in a heavy shower between Swaffham and Mumford. Then half way through the forest, like a switch no rain and bone dry roads. Even saw the sun by the time I was home. Dave
