Peak district ride

I've made this offer before without anyone actually taking me up on it, but I've decided to repeat it. I live a few miles south of Derby, and I am familiar with some very enjoyable roads around the Peak District.

I will happily take a small group (from 1 up to about 4) around some of my favourite Peak District routes, the length of which can be tailored to suit. They are mostly twisty and hilly lanes but not too challenging: it's not fast riding, but I find them very enjoyable in the dry.

I'm semi-retired, so it could be a weekday or a weekend (or more than one occasion). If it helps people coming from far away, I can provide some basic house-room for an overnight stay before and/or afterwards, with bikes kept out of sight in my locked courtyard.

Anyone interested is welcome to contact me directly on 07768-941222, Martin.

Hey! Well done mate.

We could do with more folks pulling this sort of thing together, it seems to be sadly lacking these days.
Maybe the lock-downs put people off meet ups and ride outs?
Lets put all that behind us and get out there and enjoy our Monsters, we are a motorcycle club after all.

Oops only just seen this. Did this happen already or still on the cards. I live in Birmingham but often head for the peaks and would like to find some new roads.

Timing can make all the difference, last year I'd have said yes, but as I no longer up that way, it's a no from me, but hope some take you up on your offer.
