Dear friends of Buzzbomb,
It is with heartfelt sadness that i have to inform you that my dad, Geoff, has passed away.
We thought it would be better for you all to know together and am sorry to break this news after what appears to have been a fabulous weekend, having read some of the earlier posts.
At this time, we ask for privacy and as soon as we have any information on funeral arrangements, I will let you know in due course

Paul, firstly I am so so sorry to hear the news, you have lost a fabulous father and Babs a wonderful husband, our thoughts are with you all at this very sad time.

The Ducati community has lost a great friend and I am sure there will be lots of stories to tell on these pages.

I know this is raw at the moment but I am pleased he had such a good time this weekend,he was in his element although frustrated he could not ride with us. He was laughing, joking and giving advice...even when it was not needed, in other words just being Geoff.

He will be missed by many, but never forgotten.

Ride in Peace Geoff.

Mike.

Paul

Please pass on my condolences to your mum, Geoff was one of the nicest and most generous people, especially with his time and advice, you could ever wish to meet.

This has come as a real shock after seeing him only last Sunday afternoon waving and smiling as we left on our ride back from our trip to Portmeiriion.

He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him

Chris

Just heard the really sad news.

Barbara, Paul and family my thoughts are with you all...

I can't believe it was only 2 days ago he was having such a ball with us all at the weekender he helped organise.

He was such a great man - helped me with my bike, helped me spend more money than I should on it than I should... Was always the life and soul of our meets and became a really true friend.

I'm truly devastated.

Geoff will be sorely missed but will never ever be forgotten

Oh, Geoffrey, I'm going to miss you more than I have words to express.
Your spirit and your cheeky grin will remain with me always.
It has been a true joy to be counted as your friend.

With respect, I didn't know Geoff but I would like to offer my sincere condolences to his family, as well as his friends here on the UKMOC.

I am so sad to hear this.
I had hoped to get to the weekender, just to see him, but it didn’t happen.
Geoff was a lovely man and a good friend.
He would do anything for you - he helped me and my family on more than one occasion.
My heart goes out to Babs and the family.
Rest In Peace Geoff. I will miss your cheery phone calls.
Love from Anne and Andy xxx

This has knocked me for six. I caught up with Geoff just last week, I had arranged to pop over once back from being away for tea and ginger nuts... totally shocked to hear this, thoughts and love are with Barbara and the family. The man was a legend.
