Well it's official I'm in!
Thanks for the advice of the last few weeks and thanks for fate for lining me up with such a stunning bike.
After a long week a very long day brought her north to me! Can't thank Route 66 couriers enough for friendly constant communication and faultless transport by real bike enthusiasts and for a really fair price! I really cannot believe the condition of the bike not a mark, it's impossible to fault it! SOOO glad I got a yellow one, love the colour, not even key marks on the ignition! As for the sound of the sil motos, there's no doubt there's a Ducati about, the house was vibrating on tick over! Deffo a hit with the littleun. No chance of a ride tonight and working tomorrow which is gona kill me but at least it's home, safe and as described Looking forward to getting probably acquainted... Ditch the front fairing, put some bar end mirrors on and it will be even better.
Very very nice bike that one and has the right number on too |

Haha I'm happy as is for the min, ordered some drop bobbins (how much!?) but over winter I will have a fiddle. Can't make mind up on the screen? Mirrors yes they'll go, I actually like the tail. The frame where the foot pegs were looks empty, can you get new shorter brackets to do away with the rear bracket?

I would keep as is until you've ridden for a while. If you dont intend to have pillions then there are some nice rear-sets out there |

I'd keep it as is for now too, then you can make informed choices about how to have it.
The standard mirrors are very good at showing you what your arms look like It's nice and clean, I bet you're well pleased |

I'm working in a school today so nipped home and road it half a mile to site, spending an hour or so getting used to cbt stuff again, learn the clutch and weight around the high school. It's pretty hot and it's low speed stuff, what's safe running temp/normal running temp?

You've probably already discovered the limited steering lock then ....?
Makes feet-up slow turnarounds a bit tricky at first, but you get used to it. Bike looks great. I'd remove the 46, but apart from that its lovely. Particularly liking the Sils. Pomp1 sells some decent looking rearsets (with pillion extensions) through "Desmoperformance", if you're interested. |
