Hello from London

Hello, my name's Mark and I'm a recovering ...

Wait, that's the wrong group. But seriously, hello - my name IS Mark and after some agonising, listening to/ignoring the devil on one shoulder and the angel on the other, I've gone for a Monster 796 anniversary edition.

Lovely bike, 1,800 miles on the clock, and a real looker (apart from the mirrors, which are going as soon as possible, to be replaced by the standard Monster ones).

The Monster is the weekday bike and joins my Triumph Sprint GT, which the missus and I use for longer haul trips.

Home is south-east London, work is at that place where a few fit sports people ran, threw and jumped over things last summer whilst lots of spectators got very excited.

All the best,

Mark

Welcome Mark, nice choice of bike.

I also work down that neck of the woods sometimes as I work for the big retail developer who built the big shopping centre next to the park!

P.s. Maybe is just the photo, but those mirrors look enormous!

The mirrors are part of the retro charm.
Hello and welcome.
We have a few London get-togethers, 1st Saturday of the Month in Docklands and recently one weekday evening somewhere in town. Fell free to come along if you're not too busy.

Mark welcome to the club.
I'm down in South East London myself so you have the benefit of meeting the London guys if you choose and also head off into North Kent for the regular Kent guys meeting on the 2nd of each month.

Bike looks nice but I think everyone agrees those mirrors look silly.

Thanks all, I'd noted the monthly meet at Fat Boy's Diner, which is very near home. I'd have come this weekend - and would also have been at the Bike Shed event - but I'm up in Glasgow for family things (being Scottish as I am).

Hopefully next time.

Is this the moment when I mention that I work for BT Sport - absolutely not to publicise the channel but to make myself a target for MotoGP love/hate?

Hi and welcome

London Ducati section is going from strength to strength

I'll eventually be working in one of those things that can go to and from one or both of the places already mentioned
