Monster on Anglesey

Hello all!

At 32 I’m a late comer to motorbikes and very new to owning a Ducati! I’ve recently bought my first ‘big’ bike and decided on a Ducati Monster 696+ in stealth black. The perfect bike for the twisty roads on the island as well as the mountain roads on the mainland. That lovely v twin torque is ideal for all those corners!! I’m quite exited to finally join the Ducati family and look forward to this up coming summer!!

Welcome aboard. You are in a good spot to enjoy the torque of the L twin.

No I’m afraid not. I know a few ex-commandos in the area though! I work for the Coastguard.

Belated greetings from Caernarfon, hopefully on the road soon on a blue M750, possibly see you on the Angelsey bike club charity run going very slowly around the island in a counter clockwise direction, the run that is, not me.

Hi Yanbo! Also new to the forum, but unfortunately have recently moved from Four Mile Bridge, Anglesey ... Would have been good to see a fellow Monster rider out in the mountains!

Enjoy the new bike!

Oh gutted! I did the standard ride out yesterday up the Llanberis pass and down Oggie. Some great riding out here. Have you moved far?

Hi Yanbo,
Wifey drags me round the Art Gallery in Llangefni several times each year!
If you see an old man on a dog lead being dragged (Protesting) out of a Volvo, it might be me!
Ken.

Haha poor man, I know it well. I’m not too far from there and frequently go past it on my rides out. Do you ever come on the bike?

Perhaps see you sometime?
