I thought it's only polite...
to say hello!
I've been registered for some time, but this the first evening I've made any posts. I switched from my 749 to a M1100S in January, although the snow put paid to any early rides... The photos are from the day it was delivered, a little out of date as I soon changed the exhaust shield for a carbon one. Since then there's been a little more carbon bling added (sprocket and exhaust valve cover), but now it's in for the first service, smaller front sprocket and carbon hugger. For now I think that's about it. I'm not sure about changing the plastic for carbon between the tank panels, as it matches the seat and tail and sad as it may be, I like having the "1100S" logo! |

Hi 749 MON,about time you got your bike on here, let the dealer fit the rear hugger as its back wheel out to do it,a pain just for one screw. Will be interesting to know how you get on with the smaller front sprocket, may be a bit lively in first ! Maybe a couple of the back might be enough to make the higher gears more useable.£100 for the carbon exhaust valve cover, that must be the dearest 2" square of carbon any where outside F1 ! hope you got a good deal.

I agree about the exhaust valve cover price, absolute daylight robery, even at the knockdown price I got it for. Unfortunately nobody seems to do a pattern one as yet. I kept hoping QB Carbon or Sandbar may bring one out, but I was getting impatient! |

Those pictures do more for me than the official pictures.
The red and gold catches well in the light. Mmmm, still tempted. btw, I test rode one, and was disappointed I couldn't hear the dry clutch rattle more, what's it like without the full cover? |

It definitely looks better in the flesh than on any photos I think.
The clutch has the proper rattle with the open cover, although it does get drowned out somewhat by the Termi's |
