Legends Cafe @ GT Motorcycles, Plymouth
Evening all,
I took a short 2 hour trip from Barnstaple to the Legends Cafe in Plymouth today to make the most of the good weather. Great little cafe with a good selection of food and cakes. Huge ample segregated motorbike parking and best of all, lots of shiny new bikes in the show room to look at afterwards! There's a good collection of new Ducatis, Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki, etc. I'm no good with old Ducatis (read, older than me) but there were a couple of great examples in the Cafe to drool over whilst sipping my latte. http://www.gtmotorcycles.com/p/legends-cafe Good place to meet for a ride over Dartmoor if anyone is that way inclined? Edit for Admin: uploading photos in this section is blocked, any reason? |

Nice find Ross.
If you were to form an ex-pat Norfolk section, that could be a contender for coolest clubhouse. I notice that it says "Please put your helmet in the rack provided" In the chippie on Grumpy's chip run, we were discussing whether or not it is rude to eat with your helmet on the table... Not sure of the etiquette on this... what do you reckon?

Yeah it's a nice place to be! I might look to organise some Devon trips whilst I'm down this way, but there doesn't seem to be many from around here?
I don't think it's rude to have it on the table, but I would usually pop it on the floor or next to me on a spare chair. I do like the rack idea though, keeps it nice and tidy, there's even hangers for jackets should fancy it, but I think that's a bit much? |

It is a pretty good café, there is also the Chequered flag café near Liskeard which is very bike friendly.

Yeah, I though so too, but Grumpy reckons it depends on the type of helmet.
I think it's okay for a Shoei, AGV or Arai, but not a Bell. I wasn't taking any chances, I just rested mine on my leg.
