Geriatric's bike

Good evening all!

Hope I am doing a 'right' thing here.

Does any one want to buy my M900ie?

Age and a broken collar bone are two reasone for putting her up fore sale!

No laughing please.

Don't be in a rush with this is my advice, when you're fixed and it turns to spring you may well feel younger? Failing that maybe going for a ride will do the trick.

Cool

I feel you pain, I have a broken collar bone amongst other broken bits (knee, ankle) but then I opted for a 916 (stress positions) to accompany the Monster!

Don’t do it unless you seriously cannot ride with a little bit of enjoyment anymore.

…be worth more in Spring anyway.
I’m the wrong side of 55 and two and a half years into recovery from a major injury:
4 broken vertibrae, 15 fractures across 9 ribs, collapsed lung, two ligaments ruptured in one knee and a (now inoperable) displaced fracture in my ankle.
I’m planning to be back on a Monster next year.

Ow, just, ow...Best of wishes for a full recovery, soon. But the wrong side of 55 is under it,surely? And I am sure there are many here who would agree

Thanks for the sugestions lads they all make sense.
I might mention that I was a member of The institute of Advanced Mororists in 2005, when I rode a 907ie (pig in traffic), so know the rules and have stuck to them since.

Norah (the Monster) in the spring then. Thought that about £1750 to start - what do you think

May I say get well soon, Slob - can't imagine how you are copeing !

Well, Norah has stayed in the club.
I popped to Gloucester earlier in the week, have her the once over, then crossed Chris's hands with silver.
Thanks for the warm welcome Chris along with the many cups of coffee, plus the banter. It was a pleasure.
Norah is now safely tucked away in her new home, chatting with her new stable mates.

Hah! Another piece in the jig-saw.
I just emailed a load of speculation and guesswork about the picture you attached to our group email.
Can't wait to find out more about Nora... And congratulations to both on a sweet deal.
