'Friendly' MOT in London/SE
MOT runs out end of next month. 04 plate S4R with after market full Arrow exhaust system therefore no longer got the Cat installed. Baffles in so should be road legal?! Can anyone advise on whether this may be a problem getting through the MOT? Also, any 'friendly' MOT services in London or SE that they can recommended.
Many thanks in advance. |

Shouldn't be a problem as long as they're not smaped "Race use only" or similar, however it's up to the tester's discression.

These guys are fair and never ever had a problem with all my bikes. Non baffled Termis on my s4 and sils on m900 and arrows on 748. They do like clean bikes though. http://www.autoinsider.co.uk/local/m...s/ai_39472.php

Im sure it is. I always think that if you turn up and its clean it shows you care about maintanence and should help.

I use watling tyres in catford. Not a word about B&B exhaust he did mention my plate as he should fail it for that (plate is a size of 2xCC). Bike is always dirty. He did say it will fail next MOT if I do not change the chain and sprockets.

I've used Watlings in Catford before with stupid loud viper cans, they said get them changed for next time, they've been going donkey's years so I would say they're ok.
