Moto GP Ceramic Coat
Hi
I'm in the process of buying a new 797 and the dealer had offered MotoGP Ceramic Coat for £199. Its apparently a very good paint and plastics protector. It has a 3 year warranty Has any one used it/know anything about it? Nick |

Buy a ceramic paint protection kit and do it yourself and save a few quid.
It’s a money making racket on cars aswell! An example https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/50ml-Cera...-/382274286710 Last edited by damien666; 03-10-2018 at 02:28 AM.. |

I definitely wouldn't pay £199 for it.

It'll still coat you about £60 for the stuff, you'll want to do a good wash first, snow foam? then clean the surfaces a bit more, rub the stuff in and give it a good 24hrs..
Lot of effort which is where the price comes in, though cheap compaired to some of the high end treatments that run to 4 figures, again mostly bundled into the prep I understand.

The one Evans Halshaw uses on Citroen cars is sold in their dealerships for £200+.. The exact same product was available in ebay for a fiver
Here are Amazons offerings starting at £3.98. https://www.amazon.co.uk/CarPro-Cera.../dp/B005XM5XBQ

Get some G-techniq or Gyeon. Much cheaper and just as good. Just make sure you get the prep work.
