Question Best value London servicing?

Can any one tell me the best place to get Mrs Cutter's 695 serviced? I don't want to go to Red Dog/London Superbike or whatever they're called now, even though they are fairly near to me, because I had a bad experience with them re getting some parts. I'm in North London - is Rosso Corse in E1 the best bet? Any advice much appreciated.....

Not tried anywhere else but costs didn't seem too bad. Approx £400 for last service, not belts but just about everything else (all fluids inc clutch/brake, filters, spark plugs, etc) and 5 hours labour.

They're apparently OK with doing labour-only jobs if you want to supply your own parts.

You could always try Ducati Proteam in Kent, does a free collection and delivery for most of London.
I use Alec all the time now, but always had good service from Rosso Corse.

Cool - sorry to ask but what's the pricing like? Pick up and drop off sounds a bit looxury

Ray is starting the repairs first thing jn the morning. They are great guys always treated me good.

Dude, that sucks. Sorry to hear. Not your month eh?

And again, wouldn't take my bike anywhere else.

rosso corse is where i would go out of choice every time

if its a monday and your stuck (when rosso are closed) then Burwin on essex road N1 are also very good for general servicing and tyres

Rosso Corse gets a big thumbs up from me too....top lads.

And Matt and Brian at Burwin's same as above no complaints from them whatsoever.

Hey thanks for all the advice! Rosso are obviously very trustworthy - the previous owner had the 695 done there too. However have to say 400 quid sounds a bit steep for general service with no belts or valves involved... Trouble is I think the 695 is due for valves so it's going to be big bill...ouch.

It had everything done including the belts bizarrely enough, at 6764 miles at Rosso Corse due to the previous owner insisting on it (!). That was in 08. Then fluids filters and belts replaced last year at Red Dog but they didn't record the mileage, and stupidly we didn't either but I think it was about 12K. However they reckoned the valve clearances were OK. Now it's at 15477 and the "NA int" message is showing. However it just went to Assen and back and ran like a dream. Is it noticeable if the valves need doing or do you just have to do them?

BTW Pegboy, hope you are not going to have too much grief getting lorry company's insurance to pay - I've had a similiar experience in the past - it stinks so you have my sympathy mate.
