Hi and welcome. Not many 900 around that fit that description TBH. they're (rightly) the most treasured of Monsters as it was "the original" and to find a cheap one for sale is pretty difficult as it is, without even going for a yellow hoop or completely standard one.. No particular years to avoid TBH.

Hi there and welcome to the forum. I hope you manage to pick something up, if you're planning a custom build be sure to stick all the info about your work on the forum and don't forget the photos, people like plenty of photos on here.

Be careful on wanting a bargain bike as may well cost you more in the end. Just make sure it is what it seems and work out the cost of what to replace first unless you really want to customise it. 900's seem to hold their price now as I think the 1100 will.

I see. If you don't have any luck Monster wise you could look at SS.

I've seen a couple of rough ones go for around a grand in the last year but you have to be in the right place at the right time for a bargain like that, good luck.

Best advice when buying any Ducati is buy the newest one you ban afford. There were so many improvements made over the early ones. There are a couple on ebay atm I'll try to find them
