Hi :)
Hi there everyone,
I'm new to the forum and new to Ducati. Been lurking on ducatisti.co.uk but not found the sort of information I'm looking for. Oh yeah, I live in London and have a Monster 696. You know the type, walked into the shop, test rode it and then bought one, along with all the gubbins I need to ride it. Then proceeded to leave it in the car park most of the time, so I hardly ever ride the thing! Got some questions I need to ask but will find the appropriate sections for those Wheeeeeeeeeee! Mit |

Thanks for all the welcomes guys!
I live in the centre of London, in the Square Mile, so I have nowhere to even clean my bike properly, and I have a good half-hour ride in any direction before the roads start to become enjoyable! At least with a Monster it looks good while standing still. That's what I tell myself anyway |

Well I don't hate them, I just think spending 25% of the cost of the bike on replacement exhausts is a bit excessive. Plus I don't think they make the bike look any better! And I still really really like those Vance & Hines ones! |

Welcome!
I'm centralish (N7) and nowhere to wash either. I just go to a local petrol station with a jet wash and take some rags and sponges with me... costs a few quid, jobs a good 'un. Do all the shiny bits later in the underground car park. Can't be bothered paying someone to do it I rather enjoy it... PS. 696 is such a fun bike for London traffic, I demand you ride it more! Nice to see so many Londoners! Do you guys arrange meets and things? I've got a couple of biker friends (but I'm the only Ducatisto) and I need to run my engine in at least before it gets colder!
