Nervous Norman

Hi to All

Finally taken the plunge. I passed my bike test in 2003, and at that time looked at a Monster 620i Capriex - but ended up on a Fazer, then followed a bunch of sports bikes, and finally tomorrow it'll the way i wanted it to be in the first place - collecting a new Ducati Monster 1100.

So this eve i'm looking through all the web sites looking for snippets of information of the new Monsters and tonight I very much doubt continuous sleep will feature. Tomorrow I recko i'll be up bright and early for a bacon sandwich, then off to Coventry to collect the my new pride and joy - Silver with a red frame is the one. I've kept to std spec for delivery, gives plenty of time to consider the extras which i'l no doubt dream about for weeks / months to come.

Any useful tips ref early days ownership (apart from plenty of miles) and essential extras needed on the new Monster would be greatly appreciated.

Will be cool to be a proper member tomorrow :-)
